Blue Lamp Battlefield Tours is operated by Nick Saunders who served for 30 years as a police officer in the Hampshire Constabulary.

He has had a lifelong passion for history and has been a member of the Western Front Association for
over 25 years. Nick is also an associate member of the Guild of Battlefield Guides and has graduated from the Open University with a BA (Hons) in History.

Nick is also a prominent historian, writer and speaker. He is Chairman of the Milton Heritage Society, recording and preserving the history of New Milton, Old Milton and surrounding villages and areas. Nick also writes on a wide range of historical subjects for several magazines and journals and gives talks and presentations to various clubs and  organisations.
